Premium Fans vs Practice Fans

Practice fans are priced cheaper than Premium fans because they differ in overall quality, practice fans are made with cheaper silk and may have some minor wear and tear + dye/glue blemishes present - this is not visible when the fans are in motion and only noticeable up close. The colour gradient may not be as smooth however they still function the same and are a great affordable option for those on a budget or as a second set to practice with in order to prolong the life of your Premium fans. Practice fans have thinner and lighter staves therefore are great for extended periods of use to alleviate strain on the wrists. Practice Fans are not made by Karina personally, however are individually vetted prior to shipping.

Premium fans use high grade silk, extra strong glue and are hemmed on each edge to ensure longevity. The gradients are always blended perfectly smooth and use the best quality, unique dyes which stand out from the rest. More time, patience and attention to detail go into the making of Premium Fans. The staves are slightly heavier but stronger and don’t splinter as easily. They are bespoke and can be customised on length, width and colour. Premium Fans are fully hand crafted by Karina.
